Chris and Liam arrived promptly at our house to install our lights. They were well prepared and extremely professional. Within a few hours, our lights were ready. They gave me the mobile app along with a demo of how to select various colors and variations of lighting options. These lights have a 20 year life expectancy. They can be set for holidays, no more crawling up for Christmas!!

This was our first year using LIGHT DMV which replaced Shack Shine. We thought we would miss Shack Shine's service but DMV did not disappoint. They exceeded our expectations. The installers were courteous and professional, a reflection of the company's standards. DMV responded promptly to our personal requests through texts and phone calls, and their thank you post card at closeout was a touch of class. We look forward to using them next season.

We used Light DMV last year for our Christmas lights and I have just hired them again! I received estimates from a few companies last year and Light DMV was the most competitive and there were no issues with service. Installation was quick and easy (you don't have to be home for it either so long as there is an external outlet). They are easy to contact and quick to respond with any issues. They gave me plenty of notice about when they'd be coming back in January to take everything down and everything was cleaned up when I returned at the end of the day.

I am pleased to share my experience with Chris at Light DMV, who truly exemplified exceptional service. A month ago, we had our holiday lights installed by another company, but unfortunately, the job was not completed to our satisfaction. Extension cords were left hanging from our house, and several connections were improperly oriented. When I reached out to Light DMV for assistance, Chris promptly reached out to me. He offered to address the issues with the hanging lights and the connections. To my surprise, he arrived the very next day and resolved everything at a very reasonable cost. This level of customer service is commendable and has earned Light DMV a loyal client. Light DMV did an amazing job on my Christmas lights! I love how the peaks of my house have the mistletoe design with green and red - it looks perfect. Light DMV installed Govee lights on our house so we can celebrate holidays in style. Our exterior has a lot of peaks and jumps in the architecture, which made this a complicated project. Despite that, their team went above and beyond, working an extra day and even staying until midnight to get everything perfect. The lights look incredible, and we're excited to use them year-round with a soft yellow glow for everyday ambiance and themed colors for each holiday. Highly recommend Light DMV.

AMAZING experience from start to finish! Our initial phone call to select a design and discuss pricing was super friendly and professional. They quickly sent mockups of what it would look like and, on the day of installation, they arrived as scheduled and it looked exactly as they had mocked up. The lights looked perfect to the point that I had many neighbors asking me who I had help me put them up. When it was sadly time to take them down, they again arrived as scheduled. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and will be excited to use them again for the holidays 2025!

There are not enough stars for the Light DMV team. We needed some help and wanted to put up some special lights for Christmas to ease the pain of a very recent tragic loss. Maria and Chris immediately jumped on board and went so far out of their way to give us an amazing red wrapped tree (among other awesome work). They fit us in to their busy schedule, staying until 11:00 pm to give us something we could never have done ourselves. I've put up lights for years, but will no doubt be relying on Light DMV in the future. Such skill, professionalism, and value, wrapped in responsiveness and compassion. Thank you for giving us something to really enjoy during the holidays.

Maria and team are great to work with! I hired them for my lighting for Diwali and Christmas. I was very pleased with their patience and professionalism. Liam arrived with his team and explained the whole process before getting on the roof to install the lights. After a mild storm the clips fell off, but Liam was here in a couple hours once I called Maria about the issue and they fixed it right away. Highly recommend.
